Filters Hide Search Shows Meta. Start on the classic TV series. It covers almost everything:. A collection of small arcs. Sanctuary arc (starts in EP41). Asgard Arc (starts in EP74.

Anime-original, but really good!). Poseidon Arc (starts in EP100) From there, you can either watch the old movies, there are 4 or 5 of them. All optional but I recommend watching at least the Abel movie. And then you wrap up with the Hades saga that concludes the story.

It was released as OVAs. Hades Arc (3 parts: Sactuary - Inferno - Elysion) After Hades, there's the Heaven Saga (Tenkai-hen), but I think it was anime original project and it has only one movie called Overture with a few cool fights an inconclusive end. It's a mess because this movie was released before the Inferno OVAs were complete and spoiled some stuff. The current TV anime, Soul of Gold takes place in parallel with Elysion and it's really good. And then if you want you can watch Omega, which takes place after Hades (and Heaven) but I don't exactly know when.

Some notes:. Be prepared for gory, bloody fights. This is old-school shonen. Fights in the classic TV show are similar to Jojo. But where Jojo puts comedy, Saint Seiya puts emotion.

Be prepared for stock footage. Be prepared for the most amazing soundtrack in the entire medium. Hades Sanctuary is the most beautifully animated work on the franchise.
